here to help communication flow

Hello! I'm Nicole Kramer, M.S., CCC-SLP. I'm a pediatric speech therapist based in Los Angeles, specializing in autism, speech sound disorders, language delays, and social communication. My approach blends structured teaching with playful, engaging therapy.

I spent 6 years training at UCLA’s Kasari Lab for autism research, as well as 3 years in a rigorous private practice setting. I have traveled internationally to work with families and provide therapy services.

in addition to my speech therapy license, I am:

– certified in JASPER levels I and II (Naturalistic, play-based intervention for autism)
– trained in PROMPT (tactile-kinesthetic intervention for childhood apraxia of speech)

My goal is to help communication feel smoother, easier, and more natural for each child.

Autism & pragmatics

I have expertise in working with children who have social communication challenges, primarily autism. I utilize a balance of play-based, social skills, and structured activities to best help children grow & learn.

I specialize in the following:

Speech Disorders

My expertise includes articulation disorders, which involve difficulties in pronouncing sounds; phonological disorders, where patterns of sound use are disrupted; and apraxia, a motor planning issue affecting speech.

Language Delays

I help treat expressive and/or receptive language delays Through tailored interventions and activities. I also help support children who may be “late-talkers,” providing them with tools needed to further develop their speech and confidence.

Auditory Processing

I work with children experiencing auditory processing challenges by providing them skills needed to succeed in the classroom. I help children enhance their listening skills and comprehension, and develop tools needed to be more independent.
